“Larry was our general contractor for a large project (addition + renovation). I can confidently say I don't need to go to another contractor for anything in the future. Larry, his immediate crew, and his team of subcontractors were really beyond what we were expecting.

Professionalism + Communication: Larry was (and is) organized and responsive. You'll get detailed documents, schedules, and calls/texts back. When things needed to shift (due to weather, inspections, a pandemic...) Larry never let the ball drop and saw things through. Finding someone you can trust and count on is rare in this business but Larry is that person for us.

Quality + Consideration: The work is done to a high standard and looks amazing. Larry's team of subcontractors is top-notch and thorough, there was no cutting corners. You can tell everyone takes their job seriously and wants to do it well. We get a lot of compliments on the care and the quality that's apparent in the finished product.

Working Relationship: Larry, his team, and the subcontractors are good people and a pleasure to have around. The pandemic really swelled in just about the middle of our project, which means everyone (including our kids) were stuck in a home, under renovation, with at times up to 5-6 people working on something, day-in-day-out. But everyone was polite, nice to our kids and our dogs, and just put in the extra effort to be considerate about treating work areas well, cleaning up, etc..

It was actually a bit bittersweet to close out the project. As great as it was to have things completed, it was also sad to say goodbye to everyone! Happy to say we didn't actually have to do that as all of our home projects go through Larry and his team (we've subsequently done backyard work, a new porch, etc.).

Suffice to say I highly recommend LOK Designs and Larry.”
